Coming Soon…Personal Shopping

Hi, I’m Thayer, the owner of Theory & Thread,
a boutique built on a belief that great fashion
doesn’t have to be new to feel fresh.

My love for style started early. My parents taught me that true quality is worth investing in -
better to have one amazing pair of $200 pants than five that won’t last the season.
That philosophy shaped how I shop, dress, and now consign every piece at Theory & Thread.

With over 25 years in corporate sales & operations
(and, my personal favorite, as a personal shopper at Nordstrom),
I understand how confidence and presentation
go hand in hand.
Theory & Thread is here to help women and
tween/teen girls discover well-made, on-trend clothing
that fits their lifestyle and budget.

Coming Soon…Personal Shopping

When you book a personal shopping appointment,
you’ll have the entire store to yourself.
I’ll start by having you complete an on-line style questionnaire to learn about your preferences, needs and personality. Then, when you arrive, I’ll have a
personalized selection of pieces
chosen just for you to make shopping
easy, inspiring, and fun.

Theory & Thread isn’t just about clothing.
It’s about confidence, connection, and giving great
style a second story.

(Fee for a personal shopping experience is $100
and goes towards anything purchased in the
store at that time)

The woman is wearing a dark outfit and jewelry, and there is a drink glass on the table. Another woman with dark hair is seated in the background, looking surprised.
