Hi, I’m Thayer, founder and owner of Theory & Thread, a women’s and teen resale + consignment boutique in Auburn Hills, Michigan built on one simple belief:
great fashion doesn’t have to be new to feel fresh.
My love for style started early. My parents taught me that quality always matters - better to have one pair of amazing $200 pants than five that won’t last the season. That mindset shaped how I shop, dress, and curate every single piece that comes into Theory & Thread.
After more than 25 years in corporate sales and operations, and time spent as a personal shopper at Nordstrom, I learned how much confidence and presentation go hand in hand. My goal with Theory & Thread is to help women and tween/teen girls discover well-made, on-trend clothing that fits their lifestyle, personality, and budget -while supporting sustainable fashion choices that make a difference.
